About Us

I have lived in the Cache Valley for the past 17 years. While my interest in collecting art goes back much earlier, I can't help but realize how fortunate I have been to live in a valley that is home to such a treasure of artists. As you look through the names of the participating artists, you might consider the wonderful collection of art that would be yours by focusing on this talented group of Cache Valley artists. Four of the artists (Morgan, Mann, Frazier and Rich) are invited to participate each year in the two major western art events - the Prix de West at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and the Masters of the American West at the Autry Museum. Robert Coombs was the Best in Show recipient at the National Oil Painters of America show in 2006 and also won first prize in the Raymar Art Competition. Nancy Seamons Crookston is a Master Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America. Chad Poppleton just had a great showing at the CM Russell Auction and the Quick Draw event in Great Falls. He is also invited to participate in the Quick Draw event each September in Jackson. I could go on and on with more accolades of the success each of these artists is having. Please take the opportunity to look at the links to their individual or gallery websites. I have been the beneficiary of knowing these artists and collecting their work. I have a deep appreciation for their talents and friendship. They have definitely taught me a thing or two about quality art. It is my hope that this Celebration will provide the residents of Cache Valley the opportunity to see and appreciate their artwork. All of the artists have gallery representation -- mostly outside of Utah. This Celebration will be a homecoming of sorts for many of these artists by providing an opportunity for their work to be seen and purchased at home.
